I was invited to attend Paramount’s UK media screening for Star Trek last night in Leicester Square. A full review is yet to come but let me just say that fans of Star Trek and JJ Abrams previous works should be pleased with the end result (unless of course you’re a pedantic, nitpicking Trekkie in which case you may find something to pick fault at. The rest of you, however should be quite pleased and relieved in equal measure.)

    I’ve always been a casual fan of Star Trek, never got in too deep so I’m actually really excited about this movie. Glad to see you enjoyed it, at the very least it will be a fun movie.

    I’m quite excited to see how it will attract a new audience including a younger demographic like superhero movies have in recent years. Definately more accessible than the more recent Star Trek movies!
